The Insights Center plays a critical role in all food value chains. The dynamic nature of value chains as depicted in the chart above, requires that data is monitored continually. For existing Food21 value chains such as Farm to Tap, that role consists of tracking the progress on each the metrics used to monitor success and to coordinate communication with each stakeholder in the value chain. Data is analyzed to determine when expansion is warranted and to project yield, consumer demand, and economic viability.
